breakfast bliss

Well, my mama suggested “breakfast bliss” as a name for my cookies and I love it!

Here is the recipe, as promised. Try these- they are awesome.

Breakfast Bliss Cookies
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup apple sauce
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 1/2 cups oats
1 cup flour
1 package instant vanilla pudding
1/2-1 cup of each the following:
almond slivers
dried cranberries
white chocolate chips

  1. Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Mix together all ingredients except oats, flour, pudding, almonds, cranberries and white chocolate chips on medium speed.
  3. Add remaining ingredients gradually on slow speed until just combined.
  4. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until golden and delicious.
  5. Eat with a glass of milk. yum.
